Hello!
Today, we’d like to share the experience of the student, a 15-year-old high school student from Canada, who came to Japan for a study abroad program.
Learning Japanese and Making New Friends
She came to Japan to study Japanese and spent a month living in Fukuoka. While attending a language school in Fukuoka, she dedicated herself to learning Japanese. Although she was a bit nervous at first, she quickly made close friends and enjoyed learning Japanese. At school, she studied alongside classmates who shared her passion for learning Japanese, and her language skills improved day by day. She took classes with her new friends, went out together after school, and fully enjoyed her life in Japan.
Warm Experiences in a Homestay
She stayed with a Japanese family in Fukuoka, immersing herself in Japanese culture while living with them. Her host family was very kind and taught her many Japanese customs and cultural practices.
Enjoying Japanese Culture
Her study abroad experience wasn’t just about studying. She enjoyed various activities that allowed her to experience Japanese culture together with her host family and friends. She attended a baseball game and got a taste of Japan’s sports culture. She also enjoyed fireworks, went on trips, and made okonomiyaki, fully embracing the charm of Japan.
