I’m so happy to announce that the Sumire Homestay program kicked off in December, 2023!
“Sumire Study in Japan” is a project that supports studying in Japan from overseas.
Operated by Sumire Education PTY, Ltd, the parent organization of Sumire Study Abroad, it has a track record of providing study support, ensuring your trust and confidence.
With staff in Australia and Tokyo, Sumire ensures seamless coordination and attentive support.
Our inaugural participant in the “Study in Japan” program is a 16-year-old boy from the Gold Coast, Australia.
Standing at an impressive 2 meters tall, his arrival at Narita Airport immediately drew attention, and our smooth reception welcomed him!
His stay lasted 12 days with a family of four in Tokyo.
Amazingly, the host family kindly took him on a one-night, two-day trip.
During the trip, he had numerous experiences filled with newfound charm.
Experiencing hot springs, wearing yukata, indulging in Japanese cuisine, visiting shrines, exploring vast underground caves, and witnessing the largest illumination in Eastern Japan, he seemed to thoroughly enjoy it all.
Having another boy of the same age in the homestay family seemed to enhance his experience, as he quickly adjusted to local life.
Sumire Study in Japan introduces carefully selected homestays and provides meticulous support by on-site staff in Australia and Tokyo, ensuring a worry-free study abroad experience for students.

皆さん、こんにちは。
2023年12月に
念願のすみれのホームステイプログラム
「すみれ日本留学」が始動ました！
「すみれ日本留学」とは
海外から日本への留学をサポートする
プロジェクトです。
すみれ留学の母体である
Sumire Education PTY, Ltd が運営しており
留学サポートの実績がありますので
安心してお任せいただけます。
すみれは、オーストラリア及び
東京にスタッフがおりますので
相互に連携を図り、丁寧なサポートを実現できます。
そして
記念すべき「日本留学」１人目の留学生さんは
オーストラリアゴールドコーストからの
16歳の男の子でした。
身長2メートルという長身BOY！
成田空港に到着した瞬間から
一際目立っていてお迎えもスムーズでした！
滞在期間は12日間。
滞在先は東京の４人家族のお宅でした。
なんと、ホームステイ先ご家族のご好意で
1泊2日の小旅行へ連れて行ってもらいました。
旅先では、初めての魅力に溢れる体験を
たくさんしました。
温泉や浴衣、日本食など
新たな文化に触れることができ
神社での参拝や、巨大な地下洞窟の探検
そして東日本最大のイルミネーションを見たりし
とても楽しんでいる様子でした。
ホームステイ先に同じ年の男の子がいたのも
良かったようで
すぐに現地の生活に慣れていました。
