Sumire Homestay program has started! (Private Edition)

Hello. We’ve been delivering a series of blog posts featuring the experiences of the first commemorative student of Sumire Japan Study Abroad, and this installment marks the final chapter.

This time, we’ll report on his private life during his study abroad in Japan.

During the latter half of his 12-day study abroad period, he had a lot of fun going out to eat with friends he made at Japanese schools, as well as playing bowling, darts, and table tennis with his host family.

Although he had seen or heard about it before, he ate a lot of Japanese food that he had never actually eaten before.

Takoyaki, okonomiyaki, sushi, tonkatsu… He learned a lot about Japan’s unique food culture.

And now he has returned home, happy news has come to me!

He has started studying Japanese with Sumire Japanese Online lessons!

He wants to communicate with even more Japanese friends!
He wants to become even closer with more Japanese friends!

I think his eagerness to learn Japanese is a reflection of the enjoyable and meaningful time he spent in Japan.

It would be wonderful if Sumire Japan Study Abroad could inspire students from around the world to take an interest in Japanese culture!
